Beat the Streets!

We are very excited to say that we have registered to take part in the ‘Beat the Streets’ game which enables children and their families to collect points at beat-boxes across Eastbourne/Hailsham/Seaford/Polegate and Stone Cross.
The parent pack, which will be sent home on Monday includes a card which you can register, in order to play along with your child, A map which indicates where the check-points are and children simply need to tap their preregistered fob on the boxes (which are positioned on lamp posts) to collect 10 points for our school.
The map includes a tick list so children and parents can see which beat boxes they have yet to tap! The children will also bring home their key fob.
There is a beat box on the lamppost outside the main school gate. Children can start to tap straight away.
The more points that are collected for our school, the more chance we have of winning prizes against the other competing schools in the area. There are leader boards on the website (www.beatthestreet.me/eastsussex) which show where we are as a school. Children can also go on to the website and check how many points they have collected on their individual fobs.
The game runs from the 7th June until 26th July and during this period prizes are awarded across the county to individuals for “Lucky Taps”
Thank you very much for supporting our school in this exciting activity!
